Trip To KL

I woke up it was 7, went to wash up & get ready, kept my luggage in the car & waited for my family to get ready to leave. At around 8 something, we left & my dad went to put petrol first then e went for breakfast at New Cathay Coffee Shop in Pulau Tikus. My dad drove from Penang all the way to Tapah, Then we took a break at the Tapah Rests
top. After that, My bro took over & drove to KL. We arrived at Cititel Hotel at approximately 1pm. It was so jammed at Midvalley Megamall, so we had to make 2 rounds to get a parking space. We then went up to the hotel room at around 2 something then we had our late lunch at Esquire Kitchen, Midvalley Megamall. We went shopping in the mall itself until 5 something, then my mom & I wanted to go back to the hotel room but there were problems with the room card, so we hd to go all the way back to the lobby to solve the problem. We went back to the rrom & get ready to go for diner with Uncle Alex & family. At 7.15pm Uncle Alex picked us up to meet up with his family at the restaurant. After dinner, we went to Uncle Alex's house for some fellowship. Then at around 11 something almost midnight, Uncle Alex dropped us back at th Hotel. Then at around 12 something, my uncle & his family, came to pick us up for supper. "TAI LOK MEE"!!! Yea.. One of KL's most famous food, it's a "must eat" food when you're in KL. We went to the usual restaurant at Jln Ipoh. Then on our way back just nearby the hotel, we saw a group of plp, probably "Mat Rempits" getting ready to race. And not far from there, we were juz talking in the car then suddenly, a car, don't know what car was it because it was raining so can't see quite clearly. But it was silver in colour. The car suddenly went 360 degrees then bang the pavement. We juz continued going then my uncle dropped us back at the hotel. I was so tired after such a tiring journey.Sunday, 22 October 2006
I woke up at around 10 something & got ready. Then while waiting for my bro to get up & get ready, I watch Anger Management that was the only interesting show on TV. At around 11 something, we left the hotel to go to the Curve because we're suppose to go meet Uncle Alex & his family there. That means more shopping!!! Haha... After passing a toll after SIB KL, my dad went to fill in petrol at a Shell petrol station. Right opposite Shell was a BHP petrol station. It was so sad to see that the BHP petrol station had no customers & was so pityful to see an Indian fellow wearing an orange BHP shirt with an orange BHP umbrella standing under the hot & blazzing sun trying to get customers. But unfortunately, all the cars went to the Shell petrol station instead. Actually it's quite funny when you're there gazing. So my family & I were talking & laughing at them. I feel so bad. Hehe... Then at last, a Honda Civic I think. It was an old sporty kind of Honda car, went to the BHP petrol station to fill in petrol. The workers were so excited & hardworking, I think around 4 to 5 workers clean the car while the driver was filling in petrol. Then coincidently, my bro was wearing his orange Nike shirt. So I make fun of him & called him to go work at the BHP petrol station. Hahaha...Then, we got lost in Damansara Jaya, so my dad went to the nearest Petronas to ask for directions while topping up credits for his & my bro's Touch n Go cards. We finally made our way to The Curve. When we arrived there, it was around 12. My dad & bro was complaining on where to eat while I was anxious to start my shopping so we agreed & went to T.G.I Fridays for lunch. The food was good & delicious but the price.........(hehe..) was not very good & unprepossesing. And guess what?? After that we went SHOPPING!!! haha... Firstly, we went shopping at The Curve. Actually there's nothing much to shop there. Secondly, my mom & I met my dad and then we went over to Ikano Power Centre. About half an hour or so, then we went over to Ikea to meet up with my bro & Uncle Alex & his family. So my mom & I walk on the first floor for awhile while waiting for my dad to get spare parts for his lamp at the customer service centre. Then at around 4 pm, we went to the Ikea Cafe for tea time. After that we left Ikea for more shopping at 1 Utama. Suprisingly, we didn't buy anything at Ikea. Hehehe... Usually we'll buy loadz of thins from Ikea but then this time we've
got nothing to get plus the things in Ikea are not very durable cause it's not the real products from the real Ikea I guess. At 5 pm, we arrived at 1 Utama. We were going round the parking lot finding for a space for I think about 15 to 20 minutes or probably less at the 1 Utama new wing car park. Finally, thank God that we've found one. I tell you. If you go to 1 Utama, you really can shop till you drop. Me & my mom only walk one floor only, we didn't even go up or down the escalator, we're already feel tired. We went to fid a birthday gift for my dad. Then we finally found one, it was a Malysian made teapot. My dad loves tea pots, He has a whole collection of different sizes & shapes. Then at 7.30pm, my mom & I walk as fast as possible to get a table at the Vietnam Kitchen Restaurant. My feet were killing me, they were so damn painful as we walked from the old wing to the other side just to get to the Vietnam Kitchen. Then My dad, bro, Uncle Alex & his family finally came to the restaurant. Then that night was the Man Utd vs. Liverpool match. Chilies was just beside the restaurant and they were showing the match. Boy was I so desperate to go watch the match. But then unfortunately I can't, of course. So I had to ask my friend for the score. So, it was obvious that Man Utd will win & fortunately they did. The score was 2-0. Paul Scholes & Rio Ferdinand Scored those goals.Sadly, I don't know what is going on with Liverpool this season. They're loosing. Frankly speaking, Man Utd will win the Premiere this season. Back to the dinner. The food was not bad but the price was also unpreprosing. Well you know it's KL life. Then after dinner, we went to MPH for awhile. After that, Uncle Alex guide us back to the hotel then they left for home. That was all about this day. Went back to the hotel, first thing I do is shower then tidy some things then went to bed & doozed off...Monday, 23 October 2006
Woke up at 10 something again & got ready. Then my mom & bro went to the car park to keep some things in the car. Then I went to the lobby to meet my mom after that. We then went over to Mid Valley Megamall for more shopping. We walked for approximitely an hour then had to meet up with my dad at the entrance. We went to the Dragon-I Restaurant which is next to the hotel for brunch. The restaurant was the same restaurant that we had dinner last time with my aunty in Takashimaya Shopping Centre in Singapore. The price is the same so the food is also expensive. The food was also the same, noodles & Dim Sum. I love the noodles there, its yummy. Then after lunch, We continued our shopping again. This time we bought a lot of things. hehe... Then My mom & I shopped until 3 something like that then I went alone because I wanted to get coffee. So I went to buy SF coffee(San Francisco Coffee) because they had the buy 1 free 1 drink. So I ordered two large Extreme Mocha drink & it is RM 14.95 for two large Extreme Mocha. Then they ask me whether I want caramel or chocolate syrup so I said caramel, I thought it was free. Walauu!!! then when they show the price on the cash register it was RM 18.85 plus tax. I was confused & furious then. So I had to pay that amount. It's like I'm paying for two cups of coffee. Then I checked the receipt, they typed that the coffee was RM 14.95 & the added syrup was RM 3.00 for two so that means the syrup wa RM 1.50 each. So take this a lesson to say no when they ask you which syrup you want at SF Coffee or anywhere else or probably ask whether it's free or not. Then after that I called my bro to ask him where he was so that I can give him his coffee. He was in Studio R. So I went all the way up to the top floor, I ran up with all the things that I've bought. I ended up at Studio R tired because of the things . When I walk in Studio R to give my bro his coffee, all a sudden the secrurity bar thingy(I don't know how to call it) started making the annoying sound(tid...tid...tid...tid...) I was so afraid, I thought I did something wrong or whatsoever. Then one of the worker tried each bag one by one to see which bag was the problem. It was actually the magnet tag thingy on my new pair of jeans that I've bought from three point six store. So the worker helped my to get that thing out. It was so humiliating you know. Then waited for my dad to pay then we left. When we're about to go out, the that thing made it's annoying sound again, haizz... don't know what was wrong with it also. hahaha... So embarassing... It was one of my dad's shoe bag. Then we went in Why Pay More which was nearby Studio R. The things there are quite cheap. Then at about 3 something, my bro & I got bored & tired so we decided to go back to the hotel room, so we left. On our way back, we went to MPH because my bro wants to show me the limited edition Pillar cd that he wants. After that only we go back to the hotel. When we're back at the hotel room, I watched TV & my bro read the newspaper because we've got nothing else to do. Then My mom came back at around 5 like that, my bro went to take a long bath & as for me, I tidy the things in the room. Then it was my turn to go shower to get ready for dinner with my other mom's brother, my another uncle & his family. We were suppose to go out for dinner with Uncle Michael & family(last time was from FGA Penang North Zone) but they came back late from camping so didn't make it & changed the plan. They were my deceased cousin that passed away last year's family, it was her one year anniversary last thursday. It's so sad to see someone that you dearly love to leave so soon. Then my dad came back at around 6 something, don't know where he'd went. He c
an go shop the whole day & not feel tired. haha... That's my dad! Uncle Kong Seng, my uncle, came pick us up at 7 something almost 8. We went to a chinese area with a lot of chinese restaurants. The asam steamed fish & the sweet & sour fish was tasty there. while the adults talk we young people vain, my cousin was like always saying not nice la the picture, so we had to take another one again until she was satisfied.(haha...) Then we left to go somewhere else. After that we went to a dessert shop. My bro & I shared a dessert called "Mangola". Its ice & mango. Then we had to leave to go back to the hotel. My cousin & I talked about a lot of things since we were having dinner until we reached the hotel. Well, I had a great time. Then had to say our goodbyes & then my family & I went back to our hotel room. It was almost midnight when we reach the hotel.Tusday, 24 October 2006
It was midnight, & it was DADDY"S BIRTHDAY. *HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!* So we sang him a birthday song & he opened his presents. After we sang him the birthday song we saw fireworks from the window, it was beautiful. It's not fair, because he get fireworks on his birthday. How I wish to have fireworks on my birthday too... Then I went to wash up & get ready for bedtime. This time, I woke up at 11. Got up & got ready again. My dad wants to go to 1 Utama again. So we all packed then take all the things down to the car park while my dad checks out. Then we left Cititel for 1 Utama. At least this time we didn't get lost to go to Bandar Utama. hehe... Then we arrived at the 1 Utama new wing carpark going round & round to find a space again. After 10 -15 minutes we found one. We went to the shopping centre & coincidently, we met Aunty Lilian, Uncle Michael's wife & his two children, Abel & Junie. They had to go for brunch with other people so they can't join us either. Then we went to the Japanese buffet restaurant, SHOGUN. It's something like our Seoul Garden in Gurney but it has a variety of Japanese food & more expensive. I meant A LOTTTT of Japanese food. SUSHI!!!!!!?? I don't why I couldn't eat much. Wasted only. hehehe... Then after that, followed my mom to the counter to pay then we went for more shopping. To capsulate everything, we finish shopping then we left 1 Utama at around 4
something to go back to Penang. It was raining then. We got lost so my dad had to call Uncle Alex but then we managed to go to the highway. About 15 minutes from KL I saw an incident that was slowing the traffic. There were a fire truck so we were wondering what happened. There was a Kancil that fell down the slope & it was raining heavily. Everybody was so busybody to see what had happened, that was why there was a traffic jam. Then my dad drove until the Perak reststop I think. We waited there with some hot drinks. The rain was getting heavier & heavier. Then we wanted to leave so my dad went to get more umbrellas. then my bro went to the car first because it was his turn to drive. Then we didn't know whether my bro was coming to get us or not so we decided to go to the car. We got all wet when we're got to the car. So we continued our journey back. Then we discuss about where to have our dinner, we wanted to have Bak Kut Teh at Air Itam. The one opposire MBS. Then when we were nearby Autocity after Juru. At last we went to this Gourmet Restaurant right opposite Secret Recipe & Mcdonalds. We had rice & dishes for dinner. Then we left for home. We arrived home at around 9 something like that.And that was all about my trip to KL this time.
