DAY 1
Went to down KL last Friday. I know I just went down a couple months ago. But what to do? We LOVE KL so much.. My parents wanted to escape Penang from all the hectic traffic jams. We'd made the Great Escape. As usual, left home for breakfast at a coffee shop in Pulau Tikus. Then after breakfast, I saw a huge rat as big as a kitten. I screamed "Ratatouille!" & screamed again & jumped inside the car. I told my mommy that Pulau Tikus really have lots of tikus that's how it got its name. Then started our journey, as usual at around 9 ish. I've got nothing to do in the car since I can't drive yet, so I studied a little coz I was forced by two adults in the car. I felt a little bored studying but I manage to read something. We're suppose to stop at Rawang for awhile but my mommy didn't notice the sign board as she was speeding. (Lady drivers drives faster than guy drivers ok.) So we had to stop in Sungai Buloh, where the Sky Bridge is. You know where you always pass by the Overhead bridge where there's a KFC there. So we went there, I saw A&W so I went there to get my curly fries. Then we had to continue our journey to KL. So, me & my mommy at my curly fries in the car. Then we somehow almost got lost in the heart of KL. All thanks to my daddy's noisy, irritating PDA's navigator. But luckily, we knew the place a little. Then we reached our hotel. It's a small hotel called Nova Hotel, just right opposite Royale Bintang. Then went to the reception to check-in, but they said no room yet. What lousy service huh?? So we left our baggage there for them to keep it. After that, we walkewd to Low Yat Plaza, as usual la coz my dad likes shopping for computer stuff there. We ate in one of the restaurants there. A HongKong restaurant. I had Duck Wan Tan Noodle. The food wasn't that bad but the soup was horrible. A lot of pepper & salt. Then after lunch, My mom & I knew that we couldn't shop in Low Yat Plza & it'll be waste of time so we tried walking to the newly opened Pavillion. Then don't know why my mom's friend told her that Pavillion is a pink building. So we were walking & finding a big & pink building assuming it is Pavillion. So we decided to ask a passerby. She said it's only further down. So we walked some more not realising how far we've walked. Then suddenly saw a big, coffee light brown building. Manatau it's not the type of building from the one we're trying to find. Hahaha.. Me & my mom just laugh. Then it was so hard trying to find the entrance. And it was still under construction, not completed yet. We finally found an entrance in but with a lot of steps to climb. We went in but came out empty handed. Coz there's nothing that can be bought there. Everything's not nice & yet so expensive. Even if it's nice, it's not worth it. We just went window shopping then went to see their toilet. My mom & I will go see all the toilets in every mall to see whether it's nice or not & also use the facilities there la of course & it's free compared to malls like Sungai Wang Plaza & Low Yat Plaza, Have to pay 20 cents. Haha... Then we went out but had to walk one round just to get back to where we arrived. I don't like Pavillion coz there's nothing to shop there & it's a waste of time. So my mom & I took a short cut back to the hotel from Pavillion coz I recognize the roads there. Then we stop at one of the 7-Eleven's there to get a drink & ice-cream. Then on the way back we went in Quicksilver/Roxy but there wasn't any sale so we left. Then my mom got thirsty again so we stop by a shop to get Soya Bean. Then we went back to the Hotel. I got in the room,, checked out the room but it's not very grand & big like the last hotel we stayed which is just round the corner. Coz this hotel is cheaper & every hotel is fully booked due to the holiday. But at least it's better than no hotel right. So first thing I went to check whether they've got any hairdryer coz I assume they do, but I searched everywhere but there was none. So had to call the Housekeeping to ask them. I bet they only have one coz they asked me to return them when i'm done using it. How lousy was that??! So, I rested for awhile then went to shower & get ready to go out again. Then at 7-ish, My uncle & his family brought us to Jalan Ipoh for our all-time favourite TAI LOK MEE. Then after that went to Starbucks in Sri Hartamas to have coffee & a little chat then after that we went back to the hotel.
